räumlich (spatial)
The "räumlich" (spatial) project aims at exploring the various levels of art-space-time and experiences of art in different spatial contexts.
Artists from Austria and Slovakia have been invited to present their work on this topic at ever-changing locations and in ever-changing situations and constellations from September 2011 to January 2012.
Each of the individual locations in Vienna and Bratislava has a very distinctive character. Apart from the classic gallery architecture, temporary spaces outside the art world, such as unused business premises and warehouses, will be used as exhibition areas. Due to the varying collective exhibition and spatial situations and the reciprocal communication of the individual works regarding the topic of the exhibition, the project is spatially highly concentrated art-space per se.
