Marika Vicari

Marika Vicari (1979) studied landscape painting at the „Accademia di Belli Arte a Venezia“, Since 2004 she has taken part in Italian and international exhibitions.
Her graphite drawings spread on the barely worked wood like a fine linear network.
The shown wood-landscapes seem boundless and draw the gaze of the beholder to the deepness. The landscapes she presents don’t exist in real life, but only in the eye of the beholder; they are rationally constructed. Constructions in a poetic manner:
